Review:  Be Sweet - Diann Hunt - 2007

Two Sisters ,both with a sweet tooth for food but unfortunately not risk takers. Meet Charlene Haverwood , divorced , childless and living by herself as a real estate agent in Seaform, Maine. It's that time of year again -The annual Syrup Harvest and this year it coincides with Charlene's parents 50th Wedding Anniversary. Heading home to Tappery, to stay with her sister Janni and assist. Charlene , finds it hard to be back with her sister and coupon-clipping husband as she sits and watches their perfect family lives and their pet squirrel which won't stop attacking at her nylon stockings.
As the story progresses we read as Charlene tries to multi-task with saving her parent's 50th Wedding Anniversary party from being turned from a extravaganza to a cheap night out with her money-conscious sister trying to take over , trying to keep her parents together in time for the party as trouble seems to brewing in her parents paradise and when Charlene ends up with a tooth-ache that is too sore to handle ,she ends up in the cute dentist's chair and it finally seems like Charlene has meet her second-chance romance.
Can Charlene save her parent's party from turning to disaster and still find time for herself and to finish the wonderful heartfelt story off we read as secrets are revealed and the sister's share a heart-to-heart.

A wonderful story that shows that no matter how old we get and how many numerous arguments we have with our sisters , when it comes to the crunch they are always there for you no matter what the circumstances.
