MatchMaking with Bernadette Marie

Continuing with the theme of Love and Romance Books on the blog today, I bring you a review on the first book in the MatchMakers Series. Im sure that this is a word that many are familiar with and probably all been called once or twice or even more in your lifetime.

Review : Matchmakers - Bernadette Marie - 2010

10 long years , that's how long it had been since Sophie had been home. Leaving one night , after finding out her husband-to-be had lied and taken away everything that she wanted. Sophie packed up and jet-setted across the world and threw herself into the one thing she loved more than anything in the world- Playing her cello.
Over the last 10 years , Sophie has pushed aside all her pain and focused on becoming the best accompanist Cello player to Pablo that she can be. Now back home for her grandmother's 84th Birthday , she arrives to find her ex-fiance and his daughter -the reason that she left living with her grandmother.
Of course the book wouldn't be called Matchmakers without a reason and some serious matchmaking skills going on. Sophie's Grandmother and her Aunt Millie are turning 84 in two weeks and what they really want is for David and Sophie to finally walk down the aisle.
However, it wouldn't be a very good and exciting book if things weren't thrown in their paths. Obstacles from ex-partners to rumours to lies and too many painful memories.
Is this finally going to be a happy ending for David and Sophia or when another child is thrust into David's arms , is the final realization for Sophie that A) her and David can finally be a family or B) No matter what happens his ex-partner will always be in their lives ?
Read as we watch two people finally try to work out ten years of problems.
