It is in Lookout, Texas where we are introduced to one of the main female characters where she is situated ontop of the Mayor's roof trying to eavesdrop through the chimmney. Jacqueline aka Jack is a budding journalist who has her dreams of one day writing for a big newspaper and writing stories that count , not just the fluffy pieces that they give women on fashion, cooking and interior design. The other lead male character is new preacher in town - Noah Jeffers who used to live in Lookout, Texas years ago though back then he had a different name , what caused him to hide his past ? .
