Review: Frost Moon - Anthony Francis (R18 Read)

Wanting an R18 read , one with magical powers , and a variety of supernatural creatures ?

Frost Moon (Skindancer, Book 1)
Review: Frost Moon - Skindancer Book #1 - Anthony Francis - March 2010
Are you looking for a read that includes magic, fantasy, supernatural and crime ? Well, look no further as we introduce to you the first book in the Skindancer series - Frost Moon by Anthony Francis. Meet Dakota Frost, she is somewhat powerful and has the gift of magical tattooing , her body is her canvas and if you look closely, you may just see the tattoos on her body moving or in her case fluttering due to the main one being a butterfly. The story starts when Dakota is called to the Police station by one of her father's old Cop Partners Rand , there has been a crime and they need Dakota's tattoo knowledge . It is soon discovered that somebody is murdering those with magical tattoos and if Dakota isn't careful then she may very well be next. The story then moves on as Dakota tries to hunt down what is doing this and along the way meets a variety of supernaturals from Werewolves to Vampires. Can she find the killer in the dark fringe of the city's magical Edgeworld? What kind of enemies and allies will she attract among the powerful outcasts and tormented loners, who see her as a threat, a seduction, an unexpected champion . . . or as delicious prey.
A fast-paced novel that will keep you entertained with the variety of different characters. A series that I am looking forward to reading the next ones in the series.
