Review: Invincible - The Chronicles of Nick Book #2- Sherrilyn Kenyon - April 2011
Are you a fan of Sherrilyn Kenyon's writings ? Are you familiar with her Dark Hunter series , featuring the hunters who are under the reign of Artemis ?
Author Sherrilyn Kenyon has written a series aimed at teenagers and boys in particular will enjoy this series also. I've read a couple of Sherrilyn Kenyon's books including the first one in this series "Infinity" and the thing that stands out is that this is really a fast paced read, it's one of the few paranormal type books that once you get started you have to continue reading and the pages just fly on by.
Invincible starts where Infinity finished off , at the end of Infinity we read as Nick and his friends were killing off human zombies as the school's football team were turned and their target Nick Gautier. It seems that Nick holds alot of powers and can be quite the asset , however he is just like any average fourteen year old boy - a pain in the bum and all he can think about is scoring girls and playing video games - this last one though, in my personal opinion -guys do not grow out of this :). We read in Invincible as Nick teams up with the Grim Reaper as his trainer and watch as Nick must try and escape from a Wraith- the new football coach Devus and of course you will find yourself chuckling along as Sherrilyn injects her humour in the novel and ever wondered why Bubba is in love with Oprah ?
Read and Discover in Book #2 of the Chronicles of Nick - Invincible.
