Guest Review : Loki's Daughters - Delle Jacobs

Review of Delle Jacobs’ Novel Loki’s Daughters
If you are a fan of historical romance, then this is the book for you. Personally, I was not even in the market for a book like this. However I had a new Kindle and not a lot of money, so I was looking through the free book section. Lo and behold, I found this treasure. I have read it at least three times since I downloaded it.
Set in the time of Celts and Vikings, this romance pairs the enemies together in ways you can’t even imagine. From the windswept shores of the frozen north, a Viking come looking for the woman he rescued from his evil uncle when they were both only children. What he stumbles upon is a village without any men of fighting age, led by that same woman with the fiery spirit.
Through many trials and tribulations, the Viking and his friends manage to convince the village of wild Celtic women that they intend to settle and not raid. Once that obstacle is out of the way, the romance can get started. However there is a twist. One of the Celts has a secret and another plans murder. Will the tense truce and fledgling romance make it through?
If you love sword fights, strong women, lots of humor and descriptions of hunky, rugged men- then you’ll love Loki’s Daughters’.
