 Review: The Secret of Ella and Micha - Book #1 The Secret - Jessica Sorensen - October 2012
Growing up Ella and Micha were inseparable and everyone thought that these two would eventually end up together. That was until one night Ella decided to do something stupid and try and end her life , shortly after her mother had died. The incident caused Ella to look at her own life and she decided on a whim she needed to get away from it and change herself. So she packed her bags and ran off to Las Vegas University. She died her hair , changed her clothes and became a sheep. Far from the girl she used to be which was the point .  That is until she comes home eight months later for Summer break with her roommate Lila. Micha has been looking for Ella for the past eight months and now she is back , he will stop at nothing to have her in her arms once and for all and this time he will make sure she doesn't leave him.  Can Ella and Micha move past that night eight months ago ? Can Micha show Ella that no matter what he loves her and always will ? Can Micha also show Ella that her mother's death wasn't her fault and that in order to move on with her life, she needs to stop blaming herself ?
Also we see another romance in The Secret of Ella and Micha starting to bloom which will end up in their own series - Lila ( Ella's roommate) and Ethan ( Micha's best friend).

Review: Steel Princess - Book #2 Royal Elite Series - Rina Kent - December 2019 At the end of Book #1, we were left on a cliffhanger of Elsa being pushed into the pool. At the beginning of book #2, she is saved by a newcomer to the school - Knox.  We can see some friendly flirting but nothing more going on between these two, but it riles up Aiden who still has this mindset of "if I can't have her, no-one can" especially since he is supposed to be engaged to Silver Queens. During Book #2 Elsa starts to recall some more memories and goes to Dr.Khan in hopes that he can open her Pandora's box and can restore her full memories of what happened before she was seven years old. We also catch a glimpse during this book of her past and why Aiden King's father blames her for his mother's death and why Aiden considered Elsa a ghost. Review: Dr. Strange Beard - Book #5 Winston Brothers Series - Penny Reid - July 2018 If there is a family that I love to read about it has been the Winston Brothers. This has to be one of my favorite book series out there as the brothers ; you can't help but fall in love with them all - with their funny quirks and their redneck comments.
