Review: Down London Road - Samantha Young

Review: Down London Road - Book #2 On Dublin Street Series - Samantha Young - May 2013

Ever since Jo was younger she has had to take care of her family and think about their futures and who will provide for them , especially for her younger brother Cole. This decision has lead Jo to dating wealthy men and more often than not , ones that are a lot older than her as they can provide for her and her family in a way she can't. Things are going well with her current beau Malcom Hendry, but the spark isn't there and it isn't till the opening night of Malcolm's ex-girlfriend Becca, that she will discover what the spark feels like when she meets Becca's boyfriend Cameron. Cameron is tattooed and has this whole bad-boy look that Jo is attracted too, but she can't fall for him especially when she has Cole to think about. It doesn't matter though as Cam thinks that she is just another gold-digger and in a way he is correct but not for the reasons he believes and thinks. Later on in the novel Cam ends up getting a job at the bar that Jo and Joss ( she is from the On Dublin Street) and soon he discovers a whole new side of Jo and one that he can't help but fall in love with.  Can Jo with the help of her best friend Joss and others like Braden Carmichael's sisters Ellie and Hannah discover that with Love , anything is possible and that she does have friends that are willing to help and they won't take no for an answer. Find out in Down London Road, which unlike the first book and many other New Adult Contemporary Romances, this book focuses more on the aspect of the character's growth and personal life rather than the romance aspect of Cam , though of course we all love a little bit of romance and this novel does not lack in this department, so do not despair.
