Review: Lick - Kylie Scott

Review: Lick - Book #1 Stage Dive Series - Kylie Scott - July 2013

Being a big reader can be an annoying thing sometimes as you read so many books that sooner or later most of the books start to meld into each other and you feel like you are reading the same thing over and over again. However, sometimes you will come across an author who will surprise you and say Read this and you start and will be instantly hooked on the writing and characters, so much that you want more of this author.  For me, Kylie Scott is one of those authors as I started reading Lick and then got so into it, I couldn't put it down and I loved it so much I ended up buying Book #2 and pre-ordering Books #3 and #4. They say that being in Vegas can be a dangerous ordeal as you never know what will happen as Vegas is home to impromptu weddings and major hangovers. Evelyn has just celebrated her 21st birthday in Vegas with best friend Lauren and the previous night is a blur, she can't really remember anything that happened after drinking the tequila shots. She wakes up the next morning to discover she has not only got a tattoo of a guy's name on her butt cheek but she is also married and the guy she married happens to be one of the hottest guys around - David Ferris from the band Stage Dive. Was this wedding she can't remember a mistake and nothing more ? Evelyn heads to David's bands house in LA to get the wedding annulled but with a twist of events, she finds herself spending the weekend and then a bit longer with him. Can this weekend prove to them that their marriage despite not really knowing each other was meant to be ? Will the pair remember what attracted them to each other in the first place and will Evelyn remain as Mrs. Ferris or will she leave David once and for all and try to resume her life as an Architect in training ?
Find out in this awesome Rock Star New Adult Novel that is so worth the read "Lick" by Kylie Scott.
