Review: Thief - Tarryn Fisher

Review: Thief - Book #3 Love Me with Your Lies Series - Tarryn Fisher - July 2013

Have you ever looked at your e-reader  and found books that have been sitting on there for ages and you keep meaning to read them but other books turn up and life throws you curveballs and they just remain on your e-reader waiting for you to read them. Then one day, you sit there scrolling through and trying to decide what to read and then you think to yourself, that looks good or I've been meaning to read that book and finish off the series. For me , Thief has been one of those books and I have now finished the series. Throughout this series we have followed Caleb, Olivia , Leah and those in between characters as Caleb and Olivia were always destined to be together but fate and other people kept getting chucked in the way and they never got their chance. However , finally after much deliberation and back and fro'ing , the pair are finally going to get their chance to be together - that is if Olivia can survive the novel as there is a serial rapist named Dobson out to get her and it also turns out that Caleb's ex Laura was Dobson's first victim which gave me a surprise. Thief weaves back and forth through Caleb and Olivia's past and into their present , it details from the day they met by the ugliest tree and the day Olivia finally said Yes, when Caleb missed the shot for the game. To the interference of Leah, Jessica , Noah and all the other minor characters. If Thief can show readers one thing it's that true love never stops happening and that no matter what happens in life and what major or minor obstacles are thrown into people's paths - if two people love each other with all their heart, soul and might - then eventually the two people will be together no matter what in the end.
This is one book where you have to have read the previous two novels in the series before even anticipating to start Thief as Thief is a conclusion and the book that finishes the series as a whole and without the previous two it would not make sense to the reader.

Note to Self

Love is patient; love is kind.
Love doesn't boast or brag.
There's no arrogance in love;
it's never rude, crude, or indecent-it's not self absorbed.
Love isn't easily upset.
Love doesn't tally wrongs.
Love trusts, hopes, and endures no matter what.
Love will never become obsolete.
I'll fight for her.
