Review: Byronic - Sandi Beth James

Chelsea's mother is a writer and now they have moved to the south in LowCountry Carolina as her mother has been asked to write the memoirs of a reclusive author Ben Randall. This means of course that Chelsea has been dragged along and has to start a new school where she doesn't know anyone. When I saw this book , I knew I had to read it as I am in love with the whole Byronic Hero Complex - the complex that made us characters like Edward Rochester, Mr Darcy, Heathcliff , Edward Cullen and of course the now popular Christian Grey. The book though started off pretty normal but then weird things started happening and it seemed as somebody or someone wanted to get rid of Chelsea. From this part on, the novel got quite confusing but was still a good read as I wondered was it the ghost of Ben's eldest son George or was George really alive ? Was Chelsea making these things happen and going crazy like her dad was ? Or did Chelsea have a gift that enabled her to draw things of the past ? The novel continues with Chelsea discovering the truth of what happened with the Randall family and then her best friend Stella from school goes missing and the blame is put on Chelsea . How is Chelsea connected to this all and if evil spirits are at play, then what do they want with her ?
If you love spooky novels with supernatural and paranormal twists or love the TV show Supernatural , then you will enjoy Byronic by Sandi Beth Jones.
