Review: Prom Dates to Die For - Various Authors

Proms if you live in the States, are seen as a rite of passage for all high school students, in New Zealand , we do have the school balls but it isn't really seen as such a big deal as the Prom as there is no crowning Queens and Kings, no big committees and no lead-ups. Though in the case of this Paranormal/Supernatural Anthology it seems that this Prom contains Dates that are to Die for and literally in the case of some of the short stories.  In terms of Anthologies, I quite liked this one as it was a quick read and the stories are short and straight to the point , which some readers may view as underdeveloped tales but for me it was perfect. We have a story about two teen Supernatural Hunters that are hired to save the school's student body from being sucked soulless as demons possess one of the students , A death reaper discovers the reason she is stuck on earth and meets the one person who can help her move to the afterlife , A student buys a vintage dress from the op-shop only to discover it is possessed and turns her into a prom queen who wants revenge on those who killed her - this was my favourite story as it reminded me of the movie "Urban Legend #3 - Bloody Mary , a musician called to save his classmate from death and Rachel who has discovered that when she turns 18 she becomes a Demon Hunter and it seems that a demon wants to kill her boyfriend on Prom Night. This is the perfect read for all those who are fans of Short Stories and have previously enjoyed the books "Kisses from Hell" and "Prom Dates from Hell" that featured stories from Melissa Marr and PC Cast.
