Review: Nocte - Courtney Cole

Review: Nocte - Book #1 Nocte Series - Courtney Cole - November 2014

Now this book was an interesting read , as I opened it I wasn't sure what to expect as of course everything about this book has been hush-hush and even writing this review, I'm in two minds about what to say. The book introduces us to twins Finn and Calla-Lilly whose father owns a funeral home and works as a mortician. We learn that Finn has mental illness issues and the story focuses on Calla who is worried about the pair of them going off to college next year and being separated.  Then tragedy strikes and leaves them reeling and Finn heading off to more group therapy sessions. It is here, that Calla meets Dare and they feel like they have known each other forever.  This story goes through their relationships between the threesome - Finn, Calla and Dare. As Calla cares about both of them so much, but cannot let go of the ones she loves and the thing that's holding her back.
I will finish with saying that if you love the TV programme "Do No Harm" and is a fan of Psychological and Romance and Edginess , then Nocte is the book for you.
And readers as you read you will learn what Nocte actually means.
