Review: Sideswiped - Lia Riley

Review: Sideswiped - Book #2 Off the Map Series - Lia Riley - October 2014

Ready for more Talia and Bran adventures ? This is one series that I have to say is in my Top Ten series I am loving for 2014. The first book ended with Talia and Bran's shaky goodbyes as she left to head home back to California. Now months later , Talia's family have finally sold their house and are going their separate ways - a much needed break as things haven't been the same since Talia's older sister Pippa died.  Heading back to Australia on a four-month visa to finish her PhD and also an added bonus of Bran being there as he finishes his Honours. In Sideswiped, we read as the two of them try their relationship and it starts great but what happens when they both start to set their minds on the What if's down the track and things start to get rocky. Can Talia and Bran's relationship work for the better or will it start to break course when they are both offfered positions of a lifetime in their chosen fields ? Coming from broken homes and lives, this pair has alot to learn about each other and how to understand one another. In parts this book got me really annoyed and I just wanted to scream and shake both Talia and Bran and tell them to Wake Up and Smell the Coffee and Well Talk to each other. Overall though, this was another awesome book by Lia Riley and I am really looking forward to reading Book #3 in the Off the Map Series.
