Lindsey Reviews: Beautiful Malice - Rebecca James

Beautiful Malice

This book tells the story of Katherine and her friendship with Alice. Katherine is quiet and withdrawn due to a horrific incident in her past and never thinks that  Alice, popular and extrovert, would be friends with someone like her. But is Alice’s attempt at being bff’s as genuine as it seems? Therein lies the premise of this novel.

This book blew me away. It was so fast paced and well written. I was so caught up in the writing that I stayed up into the early hours to finish it. It had so many twists and was very dark. The author's plot was fantastically executed. I would highly recommend. At times some of the story made for uncomfortable reading and the author deals with some unsavoury subjects but nevertheless, the novel was so brilliantly played out that I found myself compelled to read till the end.
Just wonderful.  This book is perfect for fans of Tamar Cohen and those who like an edge to their fiction.
