Mark Evans Dirty Deeds:
My Life Inside/Outside of AC/DC
Bazillion Points
2011

I am a huge AC/DC fan especially of the Bon Scott years. I was so excited about reading this book; particularly as it is one of the first from the members of the original band and it did not disappoint. Mark chronicles his time in the band and his eventual dismissal with amazing candour. He comes across as a really likeable guy. I really loved reading about the band during his time with them, especially Bon Scott. He writes about his exploits and the adventures he has as a young musician with humour and honesty yet he does not come across as a spoiled rock star at all. Even when he details his sacking from the band, it is done without any bitterness or nastiness. His life after AC/DC is discussed and all credit to Mark for picking himself up and being a successful musician in his own right.

The personal tragedy he suffers when he loses his daughter was so heartbreaking. He is obviously a real devoted husband and father.

I would highly recommend this book. It is brilliantly written, very funny and a real insight into AC/DC. Mark comes across as a really upbeat and genuine man.  I enjoyed every word of it...just brilliant
