Review: Ashes to Ashes - Jenny Han and Siobhan Vivian

Review: Ashes to Ashes - Book #3 Burn for Burn - Jenny Han and Siobhan Vivian - September 2014

As I bring you into Book #3 , this series has been an interesting ride as at the end of Book #2 strange twists started occuring , that left readers wondering what in the world was going on especially with the character Mary.  The start of Ashes to Ashes has the reader thrown into the death of Rennie who was Lillia's friend and Kat's childhood friend. What happened and how on earth did their revenge pact go terribly wrong as all they wanted was the ones that had hurt them to get a little payback - no one was ever supposed to die. Now would be the time for the girls to stick together, but Lillia and Kat aren't exactly talking and Mary is nowhere to be seen. In Ashes to Ashes, we notice that Mary is still stuck in this world and only a few people can see her as she starts to put the pieces together about why she never had to hand in homework or was ever called on in class when she knew the answer. What will happen though when the others realise the truth ? Can they help Mary's ghost pass on or will she not rest till Reeve - the guy who caused her to commit suicide and end her life is dead or at least ruined ? An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth is a theme that rings strong through the series.
This is definitely one trilogy that has to be read in order otherwise you will find yourself feeling lost and confused.  The Burn for Burn series is a mixture of Pretty Little Liars meets Teen Spirit ( Disney Channel Movie).
