Review: Famous - Book #1 Famous - Kahlen Aymes - March 2015

Caden Carlisle is the hottest film actor around and is known for his various flings with the leading ladies and co-stars. The thing is though that he never expected that one day he would meet a co-star and actually develop "real" feelings of love for her and that she would have a boyfriend at the time and in a relationship . Brooklyn is a new and upcoming star and has just landed her first role in a major romantic film starring alongside Caden. As the book goes on we discover that this pair has feelings for each other and great chemistry - both on and off-screen. So what's stopping them from being together ? Brook has been dating David for the past few years and their relationship has hit a stalemate but what will happen when she decides to break it off with him and her contract is fired back at her ? Will Brook and Caden ever get their HEA or will the film obstacles and their careers keep putting roadblocks in their way especially with the last straw saying that Brook has to fake relationship with David and Caden has to stay the ultimate single bachelor for the spotlights ?
Famous by Kahlen Aymes was your usual Cinderella/Celebrity tale with the twist of the background of Film politics chucked into the mix to create a story filled with twists, turns and unrequited/forbidden romances.

Review: Steel Princess - Book #2 Royal Elite Series - Rina Kent - December 2019 At the end of Book #1, we were left on a cliffhanger of Elsa being pushed into the pool. At the beginning of book #2, she is saved by a newcomer to the school - Knox.  We can see some friendly flirting but nothing more going on between these two, but it riles up Aiden who still has this mindset of "if I can't have her, no-one can" especially since he is supposed to be engaged to Silver Queens. During Book #2 Elsa starts to recall some more memories and goes to Dr.Khan in hopes that he can open her Pandora's box and can restore her full memories of what happened before she was seven years old. We also catch a glimpse during this book of her past and why Aiden King's father blames her for his mother's death and why Aiden considered Elsa a ghost. Review: Dr. Strange Beard - Book #5 Winston Brothers Series - Penny Reid - July 2018 If there is a family that I love to read about it has been the Winston Brothers. This has to be one of my favorite book series out there as the brothers ; you can't help but fall in love with them all - with their funny quirks and their redneck comments.
