Review: Dear Juliet - Trudy Stiles

Review: Dear Juliet - Book #3 Forever Family Series - Trudy Stiles - April 2015

First off , do not read this book unless you have read Books #1 and #2 otherwise you will not fully understand the story and the angles the characters have come from. For those who have read the previous two , you would have known that in Book #1 we had Dear Emily - where Tabitha had fallen pregnant to Seth Tyson and Seth left her and feeling lost and alone, she gave up her daughter Emily for adoption and in Book #2 - Dear Tabitha - we discover that Tabitha herself was adopted and left on a doorstep when she was a baby and that years before Emily was born, she gave up another girl for adoption and in this book she is not only reunited with her first daughter but she is also given a second chance at happiness and love with Alex after she comes to the conclusion that her and Seth no matter how hard they tried they just weren't meant to be.  This brings us to Book #3 and what an amazing way to finish off the trilogy , as readers know the topic of adoption plays a big part in the series and not only that but in the author's own life which reflects in her books. In Dear Juliet -this is not only Seth Tyson's story but also a girl named Juliet Oliver whom Seth became penpals with when they were 10 and 8 years old.  This book spans over the next two decades with the back and forth banter , friendship , ex-friendship and then relationships between Seth and Juliet. Two people that no matter what the world chucked them and threw in their way , they always no matter what found their way back to each other.  When I read in the beginning that this was to be Seth Tyson's story , I expected more of Seth and his past - yet it seemed to be focused more on Juliet's which as a reader, I didn't mind as it fitted in nicely. Not to spoil the ending, I shall leave you with the parting words - that the major twist in the last chapter is one that those who have read the story will be like OMG and I want more and it left me wondering whether Trudy Stiles will do a spin-off with the revelation of what we discover - here's hoping so.
