VBT# Tattooed Emotions - Alicia Rae

Tattooed Emotions (Tattooed Billionaire Series, #1)

Review: Tattooed Emotions - Book #1 Tattooed Billionaire Series - Alicia Rae - September 2015

One of my newfound favourite authors is Alicia Rae as her books are not only great contemporary romances but they also have an edge about them . There are true love and agony, there is happiness and pain.  I have to admit , this book even had my eyes welling up with tears as I was like Nooooo how could you do this and then the next few pages, I was like thank god and then down the track again it was like Noooooooooo. Definitely a rollercoaster ride was Tattooed Emotions. I think the other thing that I could relate to was the fact that the main guy Damien had tattooed over his scars and found a hard time letting people in or seeing his scars as my partner is like that and I wanted as a reader to make sure Damien was cared for and happy. The novel starts out with Raelyn Jennings being treated for Cancer and eventually being in remission and heading back to her life and work. During this time, she meets Damien as his accounts are with her and her friend Cale's firm . Turns out that Cale's been stealing funds which leads to some ugliness and Damien getting closer to Raelyn. The pair start dating, yet still hiding their pasts from each other as no-one likes to revisit their hurts and agonies. What will happen though when both Damien's and Raelyn's pasts come back in full blow to haunt them especially when one of their pasts means that their life may be shortlived ? Will history repeat itself for Raelyn and she is left to pick up the pieces once again with only Iris by her side or has she found someone who actually will care for her and holds the vow "till sickness and death do us part" quite seriously ?
Warning to readers: Tattooed Emotions is a Part #1 Book and ends quite abruptly and with a massive cliffhanger , in saying that though this book is definitely a heartstring puller and worth the read.
